Calling all ABC finance & operations leaders for the next peer group virtual session, now being moderated by Dean Dorton Associate Director Mike Ballenger. Mike is treasurer of the Cincinnati chapter of the Construction Financial Managers Association and recently kicked off participation in the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s Leadership Center’s C-Change Class 21. He has agreed to moderate the new Finance & Operations Leader Peer Group to ensure it delivers on our mission of being member driven. Two additional virtual sessions are planned for 2026 in August and November, when the group will launch a 2027 plan that likely will include a mix of in-person and virtual events. On May 12, the agenda will include everyone making introductions of themselves and getting answers to the question, “How do I …?” So bring your questions and curiosity to get peer guidance and ideas from other ABC member finance and operations leaders. In addition, new merit annual sponsor Patrick Wilson will present a few ideas on ways his firm, Lifetime Financial, can engage with member companies. He’s seeking feedback on what best would work for ABC companies. And finally, the ABC national business discount program team, led by Mark Leibman, will review what’s new and hot among business discount programs for ABC members. More than 100 Ohio Valley members are taking advantage of business discounts, helping them to save collectively more than $100,000.
