DESCRIPTION:The NCCER Core course\, which is a required prerequisite for earning any Level 1 credentials. \nThis entry-level course provides essential education in:\n– Hand & Power Tools\n– Communication Skills\n– Workplace & Jobsite Safety\n– Material Handling\n– Construction Math\n– Employability Skills\n– Basic Construction Drawings \nCompleting the Core curriculum is mandatory for all students in an NCCER training program. Without it\, Level 1 credentials cannot be awarded. \nAdditionally\, this is an excellent course for new hires who need a well-rounded introduction to the construction industry. \nClasses are held on Saturdays (June 13\, 20\, and 27).
