The NCCER Core course, which is a required prerequisite for earning any Level 1 credentials.
This entry-level course provides essential education in:
– Hand & Power Tools
– Communication Skills
– Workplace & Jobsite Safety
– Material Handling
– Construction Math
– Employability Skills
– Basic Construction Drawings
Completing the Core curriculum is mandatory for all students in an NCCER training program. Without it, Level 1 credentials cannot be awarded.
Additionally, this is an excellent course for new hires who need a well-rounded introduction to the construction industry.
Classes are held on Saturdays (June 13, 20, and 27). Enroll early to guarantee a spot. All 3 classes must be attended in order to earn the credential.
