This entry-level course provides essential education in:
Hand & Power Tools
Communication Skills
Workplace & Jobsite Safety
Material Handling
Construction Math
Employability Skills
Basic Construction Drawings
Completing the Core curriculum is mandatory for all students in an NCCER training program. Without it, Level 1 credentials cannot be awarded.
Additionally, this is an excellent course for new hires who need a well-rounded introduction to the construction industry.
Classes are held on Saturdays (July 11, 18, and 25). Enroll early to guarantee a spot. All 3 classes must be attended in order to earn the credential.
