The initial mission of the YPF is to –
Enhance the careers of young construction professionals under age 40 through personal and professional development, outreach and networking.
The group plans to function as both a virtual community via LinkedIn, and through physical networking/learning events featuring topics such as financial planning and similar ones that address personal and professional development.

The Ohio Valley Chapter’s 2009 planning conference gave rise to this new initiative, as planners realized the need for a means to introduce emerging leaders and construction professionals to ABC. By creating a heightened awareness of ABC, the group is committed to involving young professionals in the association in ways that appeal to individuals in the earlier stages of their construction careers.
