OVABC is offering members an Economic Safety-Stimulus Plan: The OVABC Safety Services Program.
This program will provide valuable professional safety services to members for a fraction of what it would cost to have a full-time safety professional. This safety service package is just what we need in these tough economic times. There are three levels to choose from:
Are you the contractor that simply needs a “spot check” every so often? Then this package is perfect for you! Here’s what you get:
- 8 hr. per month/96 hrs. per year
- OSHA Compliance Review to include job site audits verifying compliance with company policy and OSHA regulations
- Audit includes written report, recommended corrective action and references OSHA regulations that apply
Some contractors need a little more drive behind an already started safety program. This is the perfect package for those looking to verify what they have already done and to check that it is being implemented in the field. You also get on-call consult services as well! Here’s what you get with this package:
- 16 hr. per month/192 Hrs. per year
- All items included in Package I
- On-call compliance assistance to interpret regulations
- Written program review and recommendations
- Representation at OSHA informal conferences
Okay, so you want the feel of a full-time safety professional, an expert in the safety field, without feeling the financial burden that comes with hiring this expert? Then this is the package for you! Here’s what you get:
- 32 hr. per month/384 hr. per year
- All items included in Package I & II
- Weekly toolbox training material
- Written program development
- Training needs assessment
- Accident investigation assistance
- 300 log maintenance
- Mid-America OSHA Education Center OSHA 510 (30 Hr.) course for one supervisor per contract year
- Mid-America OSHA Education Center OSHA 10 Hr. course for two employees per contract year (Courses held onsite at ABC)
