Ohio Valley Construction Education Foundation (OVCEF), partnering with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, has announced the date for 2012 Safety Day, Thursday, January 19, 2012. This will be the 9th annual OVCEF Safety conference and will be held at the Hope Hotel, outside Wright Patterson Air Force Base - convenient to Columbus, Dayton, and Cincinnati. Safety Day is also a joint effort of the Mid-America OSHA Education Center and the OSHA Voluntary Protection Program Association for Construction.
The event is designed to meet the safety and health interests of those in Construction, General Industry and Health Care. The conference theme is “Raising your Standards above what OSHA requires”. The Luncheon Keynote speaker will be nationally recognized Dr. Todd Dewett bringing his "full frontal" style. Presentations from other industry leaders will focus on methods of best practices to reduce or eliminate workplace injuries and illnesses. This conference will motivate, inspire, and educate you.
