Ohio Valley Construction Education Foundation is pleased to announce they have been selected as one of 11 official Challenge Pilot Administrators. As a Challenge Administrator, OVCEF will sponsor companies interested in participating in the Challenge pilot program. The Challenge pilot program is a new OSHA initiative to help participants wanting to improve their safety and health management systems and expedite their efforts to attain VPP (Voluntary Protection Program) status by providing a "roadmap" to guide them through the process. VPP is now open to the construction industry.
The "roadmap" referes to the defined set of Challenge stages that Challenge participant's progress through. OSHA will provide recognition to these participants for successful completion of each stage as they incrementally improve their safety and health management systems.
Participants must first be approved by OSHA and sponsored by a Challenge Administrator.
