Mid-America OSHA Education Center is expanding their training locations to include the Cincinnati area. ABC’s new Cincinnati Training Center will become a host training site beginning September 16, 2010.
Targeted for the 4th quarter of 2010 will be the OSHA construction topics beginning with the OSHA 10 hr. Construction Course. The OSHA 10 hr. course will run from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm Thursday and Friday, September 16 & 17, 2010. The cost will be $100 for ABC Members and $225 for non-members. Discounts for multiple enrollments will be offered.
Friday September 24, Mid-America will present Fall Hazard Awareness for the Construction Industry. The focus for this one day course is to identify, evaluate and prevent or control fall hazards at construction sites. The target audience is the small construction employer, business owner or manager who would like to obtain information about fall hazards found on construction projects. OSHA certificates will be issued to students completing the course. Course begins at 8:00 am and the cost is $200 per person.
The OSHA 30 Hr. Construction course will be offer the last week of September, 27 – 30, 2010. This course is intended to provide a variety of training to workers with some safety responsibility. Training will emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention. OSHA 30 Hr. construction cards will be issued upon completion. Course begins at 8:00 am on Monday and concludes at 5:00 pm on Thursday. Cost for member is $520 and $750 for non-members.
