The government affects nearly every aspect of our lives, thus the need for us to participate effectively in the political process is critical. We know that just a few votes can make a difference so we work hard to develop both action and dollars to make our voice be heard in government.
The individual support of each ABC member helps us represent merit shop principles through one national voice in Washington, and one chapter-wide voice in Columbus, Frankfort, Cincinnati, Dayton, and other political subdivisions within the Ohio Valley Chapter.
Our growing success is due to the strength of our membership - we have
over 25,000 valuable members nationwide, over 300 of whom are members of the Ohio Valley Chapter.
ABC…The Voice of the Merit Shop The Ohio Valley Chapter offers three options for PAC contributions. You may contribute to one or all three, depending on your desire to support candidates for Congress or for Ohio or Kentucky state and/or local office.
ABC PAC was formed to provide builders and contractors with a convenient, easy way to become more active and effective in electing sympathetic federal legislators. The sole purpose of ABC PAC is to work within the political process to further the goals of ABC members and the merit shop construction industry. ABC sponsors a national Political Action Committee – ABC PAC. The purpose of ABC PAC is to work within the federal election process to further the goals of the association through direct involvement in supporting and opposing candidates for the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives.

The Free Enterprise Alliance is the issue-advocacy arm of ABC. Its mission is to educate ABC members, their employees, elected officials and the general public about what is important to open competition in America. Since its inception in 2001, the Free Enterprise Alliance has funded several successful initiatives including: legislation/ballot referendums in 8 different states; preserved right-to-work legislation; issue advocacy campaigns which included print, radio and television ads; ABC Travel Teams to educate ABC members about endorsed candidates all over the country; several national Get-Out-the-Vote campaigns; and Voter Guides in both English and Spanish.
Ohio - The Ohio Valley ABC-PAC supports candidates for state and/or local office in Ohio.
Kentucky - The NoKY ABC-PAC supports candidates for state and/or local office that represent the Northern Kentucky counties of Boone, Kenton and Campbell. This PAC is funded solely by our annual fundraiser, the ABC-PAC NoKY Golf Outing.
