The Ohio Department of Education has aligned their programs with a national standard from the National Center for Education and Research (NCCER). An official partnership was signed to implement this national linkage with OVCEF. The OVCEF Board encourages this accreditation and has volunteered to accredit any school interested within the OVABC region allowing students to earn 1st year apprenticeship status for all completed tasks.
To date, the following schools have completed the accreditation process:

- Great Oaks Career Development Center (4 campuses) – Cincinnati, OH
- Greene County Career Center – Xenia, OH
- Miami Valley Career Technology Center – Clayton, OH
- Northwest Career Technology Center – Cincinnati, OH
- Ohio High Point Career Center – Bellefontaine, OH
- Pike County JVS- Piketon, OH
- Southern Hills JVS- Georgetown, OH
- Springfield Clark Career Center, Springfield, OH
- Upper Valley JVS- Piqua, OH
- U.S. Grant Career Center- Bethel, OH
- Warren County Career Center- Lebanon, OH
